Passed away suddenly and unexpectedly in Hodgleigh aged sixteen years. Dearly loved Daughter of Denis and Stacy. Adored Sister of Hannah. Cherished Grand-daughter, Niece, Cousin and friend to many. Those attending the funeral service are requested to wear a touch of teal. Those who wish to, are welcomed to come on Lucy’s final trail ride from the funeral service to the cemetery. This will be approximately a one hour ride. The funeral will be live-streamed and can be viewed by simply clicking the “watch funeral here” button below. PLEASE NOTE, there is no fee to view the livestream and the link below is the only genuine livestream. During the livestream, there will be an interruption between the end of the funeral ceremony and the start of the cemetery service. The livestream will recommence at the cemetery. As live-streaming is dependent on mobile coverage, if we experience a drop-out due to no coverage the entire service will upload once we return to a mobile coverage area. The recording will be available to view for a period of ninety days. Firstly I would like to thank the South Burnett Regional Council for their help in providing signage and support in helping make this event safe for all who are planning to attend. It is greatly appreciated. Also, there will be road closures to ensure the safety of riders as they journey to the cemetery. Across the road from the hall has been allocated for Duneske Clydesdales. From 10.30am they will be outside the hall in the red circle. Directly behind the hall is for immediate family only. We have organised with the gentleman that owns the paddock behind the hall to use that to park horse floats that have a driver to take it to the cemetery. There is a gate to the north to use. Drive through the gate and turn right, drive to the corner, turn around and drive back and park nose to tail to the side of the track. To the north of the hall will be trucks. If everyone in your group is riding you are welcome to unload near there, tie up to a spare spot on a truck and run your vehicle to the cemetery. We have people happy to come collect you and bring you back to the hall. There will be a screen set up outside the hall for anyone who cannot fit in the hall. Please, if you’re coming in cars (no horses) park to the south of the hall (if possible). Most likely there will be many cars parked along Booie Road. There could be some parking opposite the hall but please make sure you stay clear of the truck and trailer. Please reach out if you have any questions and I hope this all makes sense.
